Diane   Thank you, Ellie. It's one of my favorites, too.

Diane, I just finished reading "The silent sister"...I couldn't put it down. A friend loaned it to me because she knows how much I love to read especially if it has a hint of mystery to it. And I loved it. I am now hooked and can't wait to read all of your other books. I so appreciate your gift of writing. Thank you.

I am so happy I found your books. There is always a wait to reserve at the library so others enjoy them too. In the Stolen Marriage you mention Sister Kenny. lo and behold I am a retired RN and worked at ANW/Sister Kenny rehab hospital for 37 years. Old pictures of her patients and the old wards line a corridor and they are fascinating to look at. She was the best. So reading about the southern hospital was fascinating. Your books have so many twists and turns and interesting plots. I never can predict the sub plots so I have a hard time putting the books down. Thanks for hours of total enjoyment.

Diane   How interesting about Sister Kenny! Her methods were certainly controversial at the time. She sounded like quite a character. I'm so glad you discovered my books!

Message 10 - Lisa Stelzer
My college roommate gave me my first Diane Chamberlain book because my college boyfriend's last time is Chamberlain. It was 'The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes'. I LOVED IT and nine years later, I have read most of your other works. (Keeper of the Light trilogy is my favorite) I just finished the Lockwood's story and couldn't wait to start The Midwife's Confession. I try to take some time between books so that I don't get stories mixed up later, but I couldn't wait. As I'm reading, I keep thinking "Oh, I should have waited, I know who it is" or "I can see where this is going" and I'm almost always wrong!! THANK YOU for being so unpredictable!! I'm still shocked at how your stories come together so beautifully and leave me wanting to continue on with the characters that you have made me love and care about.

My sister and I love and trade the books, I'm so glad I have someone to read them with so that we can talk about them! Thank you for sharing your gift with the world!
Love,
Lisa

Diane   My goodness, I have so many people to thank in this comment. Your college boyfriend for having my last name, your roommate for introducing you to CeeCee, your sister for sharing my stories with you. I'm so happy you enjoy them! Thanks for letting me know.
